Impolite Posture

Even though good golf requires that you bend from the hips, which results in a protruding tail end, many women are reluctant to do so. Rest assured that on the golf course, this posture is accepted as the norm. Remember that you have to bend to the ball because it's on the ground. If you only bend from your waist, your weight falls to your toes and you'll lose your balance as you swing. Bending from the hips creates a counter balance: the weight of your upper body bent forward is balanced by the weight of your lower body behind rather than under you. The larger your upper body, the more you'll have to create a counter balance with your lower body.
