Keep your chin behind the ball

Your ability to keep your head behind the ball will be a key to a powerful swing, but don't confuse this with the over-used advise to keep your head down. You can keep your head down but it does not guarantee you'll keep it behind the ball at impact. And it not only goes against the way your body is put together but it is also detrimental to keep your head down much past impact. Focus on keeping your chin pointing behind the ball until your right shoulder pushes it up after the ball is gone. When you allow your head to be drawn up as your shoulders turn through the ball you can complete your golf swing and finish in balance.
