Grip Variations

There are three grip variations determined by how you place the smallest finger (your pinkie) of your right hand on the club.
  • The Overlap, the pinkie of the right hand overlaps your left index finger, hooking around the joint located just below your index knuckle that bends the finger.
  • The Interlock, weaves the right pinkie and the left index as they wrap around one another. If you use the interlock grip be careful not to weave these fingers so that the base of your palms touch each other.
  • The Ten-Finger (or baseball), this grip can be effective if you have limited strength and/or trouble cocking your wrists. Just allow all of your fingers to rest on the club.
